We are a family run business set up by myself, Jess, 11 years ago. I have had a lot of experience in this field, starting with a Saturday job at a vets in Altrincham, and working at a riding stables on Sundays which led me to study at Reaseheath College for 3 years doing Animal Care qualifications after attending Altrincham Girls Grammar School.
I have done work experience at the Guide Dogs for the Blind centre in Bolton, and worked in several kennels and catteries gaining experience in looking after and breeding dogs. I also gained experience with rabbits and guinea pigs during this time as well. I have had experience working in animal sanctuaries, and rescuing dogs is a passion of mine now, and I also like to help Weimeraner Rescue. I have always had my own pets, all rescues, I currently own 2 rescue weimeraners, 1 labrador and a collie cross, a cat who has been with me for 12 years, fish and numerous rabbits and guinea pigs, and I'm also the proud owner of 4 rescue chickens!
My team consists of myself, Maxine and Louise, and we are all dedicated to looking after your pets.We are all police checked and fully insured and have plenty of experience with 9 dogs of our own between us and other animals including horses.
I have many qualifications, mostly from Reaseheath College and am constantly working to keep these up to date and add to my knowledge which in this field is extremely important, these include- First Diploma in Animal Care, National Diploma in Animal Care, NVQs in Animal Care, Dog Grooming and canine studies, Pet Sitting with the animal care college, Dog Training theory, level 3 and passed puppy, bronze and silver tests with The Kennel Club Good Citizan Dog Scheme with my rescue dogs, and passed courses in Pet First Aid, Rehabilitating and working with the Rescue Dog, Bringing home the rescue dog, Avoiding dog behaviour problems, Improving and being able to understand communications with dogs, Care and welfare which is keeping up to date with all the correct legislation, Poultry keeping, and recently qualified with Dog Psychology and Behaviour at Reaseheath.I am currently studying Canine Nutrition.
